POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently hiring a Tax Associate to join our team to ensure compliance with international taxation & transfer pricing rules & practices with minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex tax-related issues.
Candidate’s Profile:
Responsible for researching on the various tax laws.
Manage tax compliances and deadlines across the group.
Knowledge is accounting systems and principles.
Tax planning and identify tax saving opportunities.
Work in tandem with Accounting, FP&A and BI teams within Finance
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the Finance Manager in preparing transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in compliance with local regulations.
Aiding regular internal reviews of transfer pricing policies in accordance with the latest tax regulation developments.
Support tax and transfer pricing audits, including responding to tax authorities on matters or queries relating to transfer pricing.
Preparing tax provision and tax compliance procedures for internal review
Monitor all tax operations ensuring their timely completion and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Required to work closely with key business partners in UK, APAC, and Europe region.
Must have expertise level of working knowledge with MS office products such as Excel.
Good to have experience with ERP applications like Netsuite.
Plans and schedules own work to ensure the timely completion of independent tasks with very limited direction.
Regularly applies strategies and concepts and draws on a cumulative knowledge base from previous experiences to independently execute an appropriate course of action.
Behavioral Skills
Candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in commerce and be a Semi qualified Chartered Accountant or a MBA professional.
Candidate should possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Should possess strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate across different levels of the organization including cross functional and cross geophagies.
A strong work ethic based on a strong desire to drive process improvements.
Should have strong financial reporting & analytical capabilities, acts independently to lead and complete projects with complex objectives.
Should possess strong process management skills, ability to work independently to help identify root cause of problems and solve issues independently and drive to closure.
