Wholesale Client & Account Servicing supports a number of different areas for GBM and CMB customers –Account Servicing, Mandates and Account Closing activities.
In any given month, Banking Services handle about 10,000 account opening requests for Wholesale clients.
The teams also manage around 500,000 account servicing requests for Wholesale customers.
The teams who support Wholesale clients play an important role in supporting customers at different stages of their lifecycle with HSBC.
The teams are mostly based in Global Service Centre’s (GSCs) in India, China, Sri Lanka, Egypt and Poland, with a smaller number of employees situated in key onshore locations, such as Mexico, Argentina, Turkey, and Indonesia.
Teams work closely with business partners and transformation colleagues to improve the efficiency of processes, in order to make banking faster and easier for customers, and simpler for colleagues.
By doing this, the team helps reduce the total cost of operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
