Location: Remote

Roes and Responsibilities:

●Prepare all accounting transactions 

●Publish financial statements by the 15th of each month 

●Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings 

●Reconcile accounts payable and receivable 

●Weekly receivable tracking and client follow ups  

●Restricted Fund tracking and budget comparisons  

●Annual budget drafting  

●External Audit prep and Liaisons  

●Ensure timely bank payments 

●Compute taxes and prepare tax returns 

●Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements 

●Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity 

●Audit financial transactions and documents 

●Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary 

●Comply with financial policies and regulations 

Requirements and skills:

●4+ years work experience as an Accountant 

●1+ Year QuickBooks Online experience  

●Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures. 

●Hands-on experience with Quick books accounting software  

●Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables 

●Experience with general ledger functions 

●Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills 

●Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree is a must
