Government Launches FASTag-Based Annual Pass for Private Vehicles The Government of India has introduced a FASTag-based Annual Pass for non-commercial private vehicles, aiming to simplify toll payments and improve road travel.  Effective from August 15, 2025, the pass costs ₹3,000 and offers several benefits. Key Features of the FASTag Annual Pass 1. *Fixed Fee*: ₹3,000 covering up to 200 trips or one calendar year. 2. *National Highway Coverage*: Applicable on National Highways across India. 3. *Exclusively for Private Vehicles*: Limited to non-commercial four-wheelers (cars, jeeps, vans). 4. *No Toll Deductions*: No toll deductions until the usage limit or validity is reached. Job description

The Vendor Account Batching Specialist for VES Batching supported the Invoice Processing service by ensuring the missing bills retrieved by front line vendor account specialists would be dropped and uploaded in the VES system in a timeline manner. The position ensures timely processing of all client utility invoices by retrieving invoices identified by the Invoice Processing system as past their expected receive date and by processing those invoices once retrieved.

As a Vendor Account Specialist, you will ensure timely retrieval of invoices is to be made. This position will report to the Manager for RUM

The Vendor Account Specialist supports the VES Invoice Processing service as a counterpart of the Financial Account Manager (FAM) who takes care of the financial health of their assigned clients. They will work closely with their assigned FAM and other departments for any missing invoice related inquiries and retrieval requests. The position entails coordination with different departments, outreach to vendors and clients and collaborations with the invoice processing team to ensure missing bills are located and processed within the expected turn around time.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Batches Retrieved invoice in the Shared Drive as Outstanding Invoice ensuring prioritization batching to be done if invoice requires urgent processing
Maintains audit of Bad Image Batching Alerts, and reprocessed as needed
Retrieves Missing Invoices and manages Vendor Accounts of clients.
Maintain department reporting on Batching and Batched Invoices per vendor account specialist
Data entry of invoices within the departments system
Additional projects as required
Retrieves Missing Invoices and manages Vendor Accounts of clients.
Retrieval process could entail outbound contact to vendors through phone, chat, or email.
Coordinate with different departments to resolve unworked missing invoice alerts and follow-up commitments.
Monitor Outstanding Invoices for their assigned clients ensuring that the critical missing invoices are being worked on and responded in accordance with the expected turnaround time.
Monitor the missing invoice alerts queue in the departments operational system to identify and resolve outstanding problem items. Resolve items within the departments target SLS.
Monitor and action problem items submitted by clients and other Velocity departments to the groups mailbox. Resolve items within the departments target SLS.
Maintain department reporting on client missing Bill status
Data entry of invoices within the department’s system
Additional projects as required
