CPP or FPC certification helpful but not required.

The Lead Payroll Specialist also delivers timely, accurate processing and provides excellent customer service, and support to all associates.

Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs tasks to establish and maintain associate/ payroll records including review of new hires and terminations into the payroll system.
• Processes all special and recurring payments, deductions, time-entry, and other periodic edits in the payroll system.
Checks and audits electronic timekeeping records for compliance with established standards.
•Assists with resolution of manager/associate questions and problems in a timely and professional manner.
• Provides onboarding support for all new acquisitions to ensure a smooth transition.
• Assists associates with use of self-service system to access electronic pay slips, direct deposit changes, address changes, changes to exemptions claimed and electronic time and attendance system.
• Serves as Ascensus contact for all garnishments/levies ensuring timely processing. Works closely with One Source Virtual to ensure updates are completed for payroll deadlines.
